In short...These lawyers are hypocrites. If somebody gets injured or killed, they just go after the damaging party by helping that family get justice.  But when they cause the damage and cover it up, they just ignore the surviving family member/victim.

The depositions show that the physicians were being careless and that they were taking advantage of a person that couldn't think clearly and was confused.

The IARDC feels that I should resolve this without filing a complaint.  But Jambois and Clifford don't appear to be interested in me going that route. They have been here and they have my contact information so I think I will give it more time.

PHILLIP PETTICE WAS KILLED BY BLESSING HOSPITAL BY CARELESSLY ALLOWING THE MIXTURE OF  ANESTHESIA AND ALBUTEROL.

ALL ATTENDING PHYSICIANS WERE DULY AUTHORIZED AGENTS AND EMPLOYED BY BLESSING HOSPITAL.

THEY WERE NOT GOOD SAMARITANS.

Yet they used the good samartian act as a defense?

Our state's good samaritan law explains that you have absolutely no “duty” to rescue another person. You aren't required to provide first aid, take the person to the emergency room, provide emergency medical help, or render aid in any capacity. In the state of Illinois, you cannot be held liable for inaction.

He went to the hospital for a constricted hernia and came out of the operating room brain dead.

HE HAD

AND HIS RIGHT PUPIL BLEW OUT DURING SURGERY AT BLESSING HOSPITAL.

The doctors/anesthesiologist didn't do research on the patient prior to surgery.

Pupillary dilatation is one of the few warning signs for increased intracranial pressure in sedated patients, which would necessitate immediate treatment.

Settlement?

A blown, or blown out, pupil is characterized by a pupil that is largely dilated and unresponsive to light. When it occurs, a fixed dilated pupil may be present in one or both eyes. Mixing Anesthesia and Albuterol was the cause of brain death. 

Schmeidskamp paid the estate of Phillip T. Pettice law firms to dismiss the case. 

SRNM.Com and CliffordLaw knew that they filed the lawsuit incorrectly and  were both more than happy to get their time and money back if they talked mom into going along with the dismissal settlement. 

She wasn't mentally sound to make that decision.
