It usually is an indicator that somebody screwed up a legal action when other lawyers get involved in a case. In hindsight that's one that was close to the end of the legal action that you brought into existence.
It's also a good sign when your lawyer settles a case and gets paid from the adverse what your counsel claims that their legal expenses were.
When your counsel gets clearance from a medical professional that the case is valid, well that's another sign.
Remember that assuming that someone is just as stupid as you are could cost you the reputation of your law firm.
